Earthquake hits Jamaica

Sections of Jamaica were this evening rattled by an earthquake.

The Earthquake Unit reported that the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.2 and was located approximately five km south of Hope Bay, Portland.

It struck at 8:02 p.m.

The earthquake was reportedly felt in sections of Kingston, St Catherine, St Andrew, Portland and St Thomas.
