Uplifting new recording; choreographed montage of actual Houston Hurricane Harvey Heroes; photographs are both heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Pictures of everyday Houstonians tell a story of remarkable human kindness in response to unbelievable human suffering. Randy Newman’s hauntingly beautiful song is the perfect sound track.”

Singer Larry Caldwell "was so overwhelmed by the hundreds of heartbreaking images of Hurricane Harvey victims" on the internet, he "had to do something to help them, and honor the heroes who rescued them."

"I became even more determined to act when I saw the Hurricane Harvey and its victims had all but vanished from the national news mere days after the worst hurricane to devastate Texas in 50 years."

So Caldwell, along with record producer Jon Gilutin and video director-editor Troi GeBorde, created a powerfully moving music video, "Human Kindness: Heroes Helping Victims of Houston Hurricane Harvey," set to Caldwell’s recording of "I Think It’s Going To Rain Today;" Randy Newman’s classic ode to human kindness responding to human suffering ("human kindness is overflowing, I think it’s going to rain today").

Caldwell says "pictures of everyday Houstonians tell a story of remarkable human kindness and courage in response to unbelievable human suffering."

"Randy Newman’s hauntingly beautiful song is the perfect sound track."

"All you want to say is "How can I help?" after seeing and hearing this heartfelt performance by Larry Caldwell. The visual takes you to the heart of the tragedy, and the beautiful song stirs compassion for the victims of Hurricane Harvey," said Bobby Watson, former bassist for Rufus and Chaka Khan.

"Larry Caldwell channels the soul of Leon Russell as he sings up a storm for hurricane relief," said writer-director Brian Lane ("Remington Steele," "MacGyver").

Caldwell explains, "The aim of the video is to honor the victims and heroes of Hurricane Harvey, and to help raise money for the relief effort through The Red Cross, Save the Children, Musicares, and the Humane Society."

"We’re donating all proceeds from the video to these charities," said Caldwell.

"Trillions of gallons of water fell on Houstonians, damaging seventy per cent of their homes."

"They need all the human kindness we can show them."

“Human Kindness” can be seen on Youtube https://youtu.be/7cvlRPXjxiA

Available for use by all charities helping the Hurricane Harvey relief effort.
