TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Forecasters are warning of flooding in New Jersey and Pennsylvania due to an ice jam in the Delaware River.

The National Weather Service says the jam was causing a significant rise in the level of the Delaware River at Trenton.

Forecasters said Monday morning that the flood stage was just under the flood stage of 20 feet, and minor flooding was forecast.

Multiple road closures have occurred along Route 29 in Trenton. Flooding was also reported on the Pennsylvania side of the river between Morrisville and Yardley with portions of River Road closed.

Forecasters say some locations that could experience flooding include Trenton, Ewing, Yardley, Woodside, White Horse and Morrisville.
