Russia has dispatched more than 31 tons of humanitarian aid to Pakistan, including baby food, clothing, and essential supplies, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The shipment, delivered via a ministry aircraft, follows directives from President Vladimir Putin and is overseen by Emergency Minister Alexander Kurenkov.
This humanitarian assistance underscores Russia’s growing diplomatic and economic engagement with Pakistan.
Over the past decade, the two countries have strengthened their ties, particularly in defense cooperation, energy projects, and humanitarian aid.
Moscow has provided assistance to Pakistan during previous crises, including the catastrophic floods of 2022, which displaced millions and caused widespread devastation.
