NEWS OUT OF WINSTON-SALEMASHARE WITH YOU. THE USGS IS REPORTING AN EARTHQUAKE FOR THE SECOND WEEKEND IN A ROW. IT SAYS THIS ONE WAS A 1.9 MAGNITUDE QUAKE THE EPICENTER NOT FAR. I-40 AND EBERT ROAD, THIS IS SOAL THE FOURTH EARTHQUAKE IN FORSYTH COUNTY JUST IN THE LAST WEEK. YEAH, YOU KNOW IT MAKES WHAT MASKE THIS ONE DIFFERENT AND MAYBE YOU DIDN’T NOTICE. THIS ONE IS THE DEPTH. IT’S IT’S WEAKER 1.9 MAGNITUDE, BUT IT’S ALSO THREE MILES DEEP AND MOST OF THE OTHER QUAKES THAT WE'V’ SEEN THIS WEEK HAVE BEEN ABOUT A MILE DEEP WAY. SO THIS ONE PEOEPL WOULD HAVE FELT IT FURTHER OUT, BUT THEY MIGHT NOT HAVE EVEN NOTICED WHAT WAS HAPPENING BECAUSET I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO WEAK SO YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE REPORTING THOSE EARTHQUAK,ES OF COURSE TO THE USGS. The USGS is reporting a 1.9 magnitude earthquake Saturday morning.It happened in the area of Ebert road and I-40 near Salem Creek just before 8 a.m., according to the USGS website.This marks the 4th earthquake in Forsyth County in the last week. The first was reported Sunday, November 21st.If you have felt earthquakes in the Winston-Salem area this week, report it on the USGS website.
