Humanitarian Overview: Laos Southern Flood Response (September 2019)

Floods caused by the passage of Tropical Cyclone Podul and Tropical Depression Kajiki. Since the beginning of the month have severely affected areas the southern Provinces of Attapeu, Champasack, Khammouane, Saravan, Savannakhet, and Sekong.

The goal of World Vision is to provide life-saving assistance to people in the Southern Laos affected by the recent flooding. World Vision aims to assist 29,038 affected people (5,079 households) through sectorial interventions of food and WASH in the relief phase.
